MEET THE OWNERS
What can be said about a couple in their 40's who packed up their life in the US and moved to the beach in Belize? Well, whatever you call them, that was us. We lived on the beach for almost 20 years and then in our 60's moved to CAYO District of Belize for it's peace and beauty.
We have been in Cayo since 2008 with our two rescue dogs and really like living in such a welcoming area. The outdoor living, the slower pace, and the huge farmers market gives us the ability to live a less expensive and healthier lifestyle, if we choose.
Because Belize is such a small country, the beaches are not far away so, like in the states, we take a two hour trip to the beach where we can dive, snorkel or fish to our hearts content.
Now we have our rental guesthouses and
every day we are reminded of the commitment and responsibility we have to each of our guests. It is a privilege for our staff to care for you and make sure you have an amazing time in Belize.
As we are now in our 80's
we do not mingle with the guests, sharing stories and general information as we used to. We miss that but are sure that Belize and it's people will fill your hearts with good memories and your own stories.

DIRECT TRANSFERS
Our van is a comfortable, new, airconditioned van that provides direct private transfers from the international/ municipal airports or the water taxi direct to your door at Villa Cayo.
We specialize in
transportation for our larger groups and will never ask you to wait for another guest on a later flight or detour to another location in route. This is a direct transfer for Villa Cayo guests only.
Our single couples
will be transfered by a local person in their own vehicles so our guests can begin their immersion into Belize culture.
There is a stop included at the grocery stores in Santa Elena to pick up food and drinks before arriving at Villa Cayo.

IS A COMFORTABLE SALT WATER POOL FOR ADULTS ONLY.. THIS IS NOT A PLUNGE POOL, IT STARTS A LITTLE OVER FOUR FEET IN DEPTH AND CONTINUES TO OVER 6 FEET. AT THE DEEP END. THERE ARE TANNING SHELVES AND BUILT IN REST BENCHES. FLOATING DEVICES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST.
